WHY MIPS?

Large construction companies have long demanded that we integrate Mips technology into our safety helmets. We have now done this in Zekler Zone Mips, an innovative construction and industrial helmet that is specially developed to give the head extra protection against harmful rotational movements. Between the head and the outer shell is a patented low-friction bearing from Mips. In addition to a world-class safety system, Zone Mips is also equipped with 12 ventilation holes and smart click mounts for headlamp, hearing protection, visor, visor protection and neck protection.

MIPS is an additional layer of protection that, in case of oblique impacts, can reduce the harmful forces transmitted to the brain. By allowing the outer shell of the helmet to rotate 10-15 mm in all directions relative to the head, the risk of dangerous rotational force being transferred to the brain in certain impacts is reduced.
